Fun Day at the Great Escape, Hillarysgreat_escape.jpg

33 young people from various PCYC's were given the opportunity for a free day out at The Great Escape in Hillarys on 19 January, thanks to PCYC's Holiday Program, and funding from the Coca Cola Foundation.

Participants from Midland, Gosnells, Fremantle and Armadale joined together for a day of fun, which included water slides and mini golf.  Participants were aged between 6 and 16, and despite the large age range there was a common sense of fun, with the older youth looking after the younger ones.

Aveling PCYC Charity Golf Tournament

The AVELING PCYC Charity Golf Tournament was held on Friday 16 December at Royal Fremantle Golf Course, raising over $14,000 for PCYC.

aveling-logo.jpgThe competition was dominated by Lou Digregorio & Warren Colgan (from Best Tractor Parts) who took home both the Best Net and Best gross score for the day - winning a $500 Retravision gift card each!   The weather was kind, a beautiful 29 degree day with a light see breeze, which made the beers go down nicely.  PCYC would like to thank the Naming Rights Sponsor, AVELING, Gold Level Sponsors, Retravision (Electsales) and ACI Broking, Silver Level Sponsor, SM Engineering and Course Sponsor, Royal Fremantle, for their fantastic support as well as all the participants who made the day such a success.

70th Anniversary for WA PCYC

On the 6 June 2011 WA PCYC celebrated it's 70th anniversary.  Most of our centres held events to celebrate this milestone.  Thanks to staff and volunteers for their organisational efforts and thanks to the community and sponsors who got involved.
