On Tuesday 21 March 2017, youth from Collie PCYC’s Safe Sanctuary program put on a drumming performance at the Shire of Collie Harmony Day event at Central Park.
Collie PCYC Centre Manager Linda Gallagher said that the participants did a fantastic job and enjoyed themselves immensely.
“The youth did an absolutely brilliant job displaying their new drumming talents, and on a public stage no less. To say we are proud of them is an understatement.”
Linda has said that due to the success of their display, the group has received an invitation from the Shire of Collie to perform at an upcoming event celebrating National Youth Week.
If you would like to find out more about the Safe Sanctuary program, including how to provide in-kind or financial support, please contact Linda Gallagher on (08) 9734 5767.
