Albany PCYC Centre Manager receives top honour

Terry Eaton, our Albany PCYC Centre Manager, was recently announced as a recipient of the Honorary ‘Freeman of the City’ title – the most prestigious award a council can award a resident. Rarely bestowed by the Council, the title is only granted in exceptional circumstances when people have served the community for more than twenty years in an outstanding capacity.

Mr Eaton said it was an honour to receive the award.

“It blew me away. I’ve always been available for the community and loved helping the young people of Albany. I’ve seen lots of kids go on to do some really great things”, said Mr Eaton.

Terry has been involved with the Albany PCYC Centre Manager since 1995. Initially as a Police Officer and now as a local resident, Terry has had a huge impact on the lives of many young people in the community.

We thank Terry for his unwavering commitment to Albany PCYC and the children and young people in that take part in our programs.

A well-deserved honour!
