Talented artist Emily Anders has painted a stunning mural measuring 3m high by 4.5m wide, highlighting PCYCs partnership with the Western Australian Police Force to deliver programs and activities for local young people.
Julie Beeson, Kalgoorlie Centre Manager, said “The finished artwork captures exactly what PCYC is all about – the Police and PCYC working together to create great outcomes for kids.”
The mural will brighten up the Centre for hundreds of local children and young people that attend the Centre every week.
The project would not have been possible without funding from the Government National Indigenous Australians Agency who fund safeSPACE – the popular PCYC program that provides a safe place for local children and young people to go after school and in the evening.
