#InThisTogether2020

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

In a just, equitable and reconciled Australia, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children will have the same life chances and choices as non-Indigenous children.

At PCYC, we’re proud to be #InThisTogether2020, by empowering all children and young people to reach their potential every day, through recreational activities, personal development programs and alternate education opportunities.

We know that one of the ways to create parity is through meaningful and sustainable education and employment opportunities, so we’re also proud that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make up 8% of our workforce, bringing different perspectives, experiences, and knowledge to deliver the best and most appropriate programs for children and young people across Western Australia.

PCYC is committed to growing this percentage higher, through initiatives such as mentor programs at our centres.
