Collie PCYC was thrilled to be chosen by Altrad Services to receive a $2,500 donation, as part of the
TM Power Services community engagement initiative for contractors completing safety KPI’s as part of a planned Powers Station shut down.
Collie PCYC was among other community organisations to share in the $50,000 initiative.
Linda Gallagher, Collie Centre Manager, said the donation was very much appreciated, especially in the current environment, and that the money would go towards providing disadvantaged children that attend the Collie safeSPACE program with a warm meal at night.
“We are so lucky to be selected as a preferred community group, and the extra money will provide a meal for so many children that come to the Centre hungry,” said Linda.
Over 24 young people from Collie PCYC embraced the 2021 Clean Up Australia theme as they stepped up to clean up around their town.
