WA kids enjoyed action-packed school holidays, thanks to PCYCs across the State. From interactive art workshops to cooking classes, the kids had no time to be bored!
In the south-west, Bunbury PCYC and the City of Bunbury teamed up with local Gelorup multidisciplinary artist Andrew Frazer for a three-day, interactive art workshop, during which children aged 12-18 designed incredible art murals – coming soon to a local wall in Bunbury!
Up in Broome, PCYC kids refined their cooking skills with Ceire Turner, a qualified chef, teacher and healthy-food advocate, who worked as a trainee chef with Jamie Oliver. Ceire used fresh produce from the PCYC community garden to whip up some delicious meals with the local kids.
In Carnarvon, the PCYC was packed throughout the school holidays – with more than 50 young people turning up three nights a week!
