PCYC centres across WA received lots of political support this month, with Ministers heading to Collie, Broome and Carnarvon.
PCYC representatives attended the Cabinet Meeting held in Collie on 28th June; following which, Minister of Police, Hon Michelle Roberts, and Minister of Youth, Hon Dave Kelly, visited Collie PCYC for a tour through the popular centre.
Meanwhile, Hon Melissa Price, Minister for Defence Industry, visited Broome PCYC, where she was impressed by the many programs on offer to the local community. She was particularly impressed by the community garden!
In Carnarvon, the Minister of Sport and Recreation, Hon Mick Murray, visited the local PCYC centre, where he discussed the funding that would ensure junior nippers from the Kingsford Lions team would be able to play in the local AFL competition this year.
