A recent first-aid course left Luke a bit uninspired. Required to undertake the course as part of his Leadership course at Bunbury PCYC, Luke admitted that he found the course “a bit pointless”.
However, Luke quickly changed his mind about the first-aid training after out riding his motorbike with a friend. Unfortunately, Luke’s friend came off his own motorbike, leaving him on the road with a broken ankle.
Luke quickly swung into action with his newly acquired first-aid skills, using his t-shirt to create a splint for his friend. Had he not completed the first-aid course at Bunbury PCYC, he would have been unable to help his friend. Luke called his Trainer soon after happy to admit that he was wrong about the course!
