Post lock down restrictions for metro PCYC centres

As per the State Government announcement, WA’s lock down ended at midnight on Sunday 26 of April, meaning we were able to re-open the doors for the six PCYC centres that were affected by the lock down (Fremantle, Gosnells, Kensington, Subiaco, Rockingham and Midand).

However, some restrictions remain in place for the next four days (until 12.01am on Saturday 1st May). This means that all participants over the age of 12 that are attending any of these centres are required to wear a mask and sign in on arrival is mandatory for anyone entering the centre.

Unfortunately, the temporary 20-person capacity limit will mean all programs and activities cannot run this week other than the following:

  • Fremantle: Breakfast Club will run as normal, starting from 7:00am on Tuesday 27th April.
  • Gosnells: Institute of Training courses will run as normal from Tuesday 27th April.
  • Kensington: Before and After School Care will run as normal from Tuesday 27th April.
  • Rockingham: Institute of Training courses will run as normal from Tuesday 27th April.
Unfortunately, due to the capacity limit, Bingo will be unable to run this Friday evening.
  • Midland: Institute of Training courses will run as normal from Tuesday 27th April.

We are eager to have things up and running as soon as it is safe to do so, but in the meantime, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Any programs or activities missed this week will be run in the first week of school holidays.
