The Federation of Western Australian Police and Community Youth Centres (Inc.) (WA PCYC) is calling for a dedicated and passionate Marketing professional to take up the exciting and challenging role of Executive Manager, Marketing, Fundraising and Communications on a full-time basis.

Profile Position

We are currently seeking an experienced and successful Marketing, Fundraising and Communications professional who thrives from a fast-paced environment and is looking for a challenge. As the Executive Manager, Marketing, Fundraising  & Communications (EM, M F & C), you will lead a small, dynamic team and be a key member of the Executive Management Team, reporting directly to the  Chief Executive Officer.
You will be responsible for developing and executing  relevant marketing, fundraising and communication strategies to drive participation, revenue growth and community and stakeholder support.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Work strategically with the CEO and Executive Management Team (EMT) to ensure the organisation fulfills its commitment to the strategic plan, policy development, continuous improvement and best practice
  • Provide leadership and management across the following areas:
    • Marketing
    • Media/PR
    • Fundraising
    • Events
    • Corporate Relations/Sponsorship
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to drive community and stakeholder engagement and participation
  • Maximise income generating opportunities for the organisation by identifying opportunities for fundraising, events and corporate partnerships consistent with the ethics of WA PCYC. Assess the potential investment and return, recommending business cases and options, and implementing the approved initiatives.
  • Support the CEO to develop and foster positive collaborative partnerships by attending appropriate forums and meetings on behalf of WA PCYC
  • Maintain positive working relationships with the media, sponsors, supporters, suppliers and other relevant key stakeholders.
  • Deliver/facilitate training with PCYC staff on the marketing and fundraising, approval and project management processes, either through one-to-one mentoring or group sessions with centre managers and other departments.

Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience and training across the areas for which the position is responsible.
  • Strong track record of success both as an individual and as a leader.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative management style and the ability to forge highly productive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated successful marketing and communications experience at a senior level including planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Successful fundraising and/or commercial development experience
  • High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly present, consult and liaise with stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, in a professional and effective manner.
  • Experience in developing and promoting organisational effectiveness and implementing best practice.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace.
Employee Benefits:
  • Salary between $110,000 to $120,000 gross pa. plus superannuation, depending on experience
