The Federation of Western Australian Police and Community Youth Centres (Inc.) (WA PCYC) is calling for a dedicated and passionate professional to take up the exciting and challenging role of Training and Compliance Officer on a full-time basis.

We are currently seeking an experienced and successful Training and Compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a challenge. As the Training and Compliance Officer you provide administrative support and assistance in coordinating course registrations/enrolments and provision of information to secure enrolments for Learning and Development. You will conduct regular visits with Centre Managers & Trainers to review and assist them with student’s enrolment paperwork, courses material and completed training course paperwork
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist the L&D Manager to ensure Trainee files are compliant with Standards for RTO’s 2015 & TAC requirements and DWTD funding contracts
Support the preparation of course schedules/calendars and co-ordinate the delivery of these training courses/workshops (including on-site delivery) whilst maintaining the appropriate reporting systems
Update resources – training material, course reporting paperwork and printing for training courses
Assist with L&D Manager requirement to comply with standards for RTO’s
Assist the WA PCYC Registered Training Organisation across all of its operations and in all of its training and assessment activities, including those undertaken by other persons or bodies on its behalf
Assist, develop, coordinate and monitor all L&D Strategy ensuring initiatives, plans and processes meet organisational requirements
Assist in all internal audits and the review of quality procedures and processes undertaken by the WA PCYC Registered Training Organisation
Skills and Experience:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher recognised qualification)
Knowledge of The Standards for RTO’s 2015 requirements
Experience in using an RTO student management system (VETtrack, DTWD or other similar systems)
Experience in working in a compliance or quality assurance role in an RTO environment.
Skills and experience in business administration or similar
Able to work in multi-disciplined teams in a reliable and highly professional manner
Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook and Microsoft Office packages (Word and Excel) as a minimum.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
