Stepping Stones- Certificate I in General Education for Adults

22472VIC – Provider No. 50901

Funded by the Department of Education, Stepping Stones is an alternative education program free of charge for young people in year 11 or 12 that for a variety of reasons are not attending school. This program is designed to improve student's basic numeracy and literacy as well as teaching young people basic life skills to improve self-confidence and reignite an interest in learning.

Throughout the course trainers also aim to identify issues that have caused disengagement to address any future barriers to learning to ensure long-term success. The program aims to transition participants into further certified training, back into school or into employment when the time comes for them to comfortably move on from the centre.

The ideal stepping stone to further qualifications or employment.
