Geraldton — Boxing Club

Boxing Club, funded by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, as part of the Targeted Participation Program, provides free boxing sessions after school three nights a week, for at risk youth. Sessions teach participants the foundations of boxing to improve fitness, strength and agility, encouraging on-going participation in recreational activities, and address topics such as health and nutrition, anti-drugs and alcohol, anger management, self-esteem and mental health.
