PCYC RESPONSE TO THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19) –  PCYC Temporary Centre Closure

We are excited to say we’re getting ready to welcome more children and young people back to our Centre.

We know everyone has been missing their favourite activities almost as much as we’ve missed the buzz of young people at our Centre.

You will hear from us when your favourite program or activity is restarting, as well as any changes to the previous timetable, for the remainder of Term Two.

If you have any questions please contact us.

Midland PCYC exists so that disadvantaged children and young people at risk in the Midland area have a safe place to go – somewhere they can feel at home, make friends and do things that young people should do.

In its early days, the Centre was renowned for mat sports and weightlifting, but is now focused on delivering diversionary and accredited training programs for young people.

In 2017, the Centre underwent a minor refurbishment to increase its service delivery to the wider City of Swan community. Since then, the facilities potential has been further recognised, with the State Government recently announcing $2.95m in funding for an additional redevelopment.

Midland PCYC is well supported by Western Australia Police Force Youth Policing Officers (YPO’s) who provide guidance to young people attending training programs, and engagement opportunities for through youth activities on a day-to-day basis.

Midland PCYC is a registered ‘KidSport Club’ and accepts KidSport vouchers for Boxing.
