Carnarvon PCYC Trash and Treasure Fundraiser

Published: November 23, 2017 12:00am
Carnarvon PCYC held their annual ‘Trash n Treasure’ Car Boot Sale Fundraiser on Sunday 19th November. The event was well received by members of the community who attended on the day in the hope of grabbing some bargains before Christmas. There were 22 stalls in total selling a variety of items including plants, jams/pickles, ice-cream truck, miscellaneous household items, clothing, toys, furniture and much more! Wonderful staff and volunteers ran fun activities including bouncy castle and sumo suits to keep the kids busy whilst parents and caregivers where hunting for treasures. In addition, volunteers did an amazing job feeding the hungry masses with a sausage sizzle (food donated by local business including Carnarvon IGA and Woolworths) , soft drinks, tea, coffee and sausage rolls/cakes made by girls from Carnarvon’s Drop In Girls Space (D.I.G.S) program. In total, the event raised $850.00 with proceeds to be used to support Carnarvon PCYC Kingsford Lion’s Nippers Foot Ball Club. For more photos from the day visit Carnarvon’s Facebook Page!
