Exmouth PCYC has again received a donation of $1500 from the Exmouth IGA for its Girls Safe Space program. Exmouth PCYC Centre Manager Lauren Rampling said that this was the second year Exmouth IGA proprietor Jocelyn Lee had donated the amount. “Our Girls Safe Space program relies heavily on donations to continue operating, and the funds Jocelyn donated in 2016 helped us provide engaging and fun activities for the girls in the program. Highlights from last year - that wouldn't have been possible with Jocelyn's support - included stand-up paddle boarding (SUP boarding) and baking for the local hospital.” Lauren continued, “The Exmouth PCYC Girls Safe Space program is always growing in popularity, so these funds are much-needed to ensure we can continue providing a safe, fun and nurturing space for the young girls in our community. I can’t thank Jocelyn and the Exmouth IGA enough for their constant support of our program.” The Exmouth PCYC Girls Safe Space program runs every Wednesday afternoon during the school term from 3.00-4.30pm.
