Midland PCYC families get Christmas Surprise

Midland PCYC experienced community giving at its finest over the festive season.

As a way of supporting the range of programs and activities PCYC provides to children and young people, Aveley Dental Centre ran a Christmas Appeal, seeking Christmas presents to be donated to Midland PCYC participants and their families.

An extraordinary amount of Christmas treats, toys, and clothing were collected from their staff and clientele, so much so that it filled the entire office floor at Midland PCYC.

Staff and volunteers at Midland PCYC decided to turn the donations into personalised Christmas hampers, with more items being purchased thanks to a generous donation from Woolworths Centrepoint Midland.

The hampers were delivered to 18 families in the local community, with each young person’s face filled with excitement as they uncovered a variety of Christmas goodies.

Midland PCYC Centre Manager, Amanda Dow said, “We are so thankful for the support we received from our local community, helping us to spread joy to young people over the holiday season.”
