New Look WA PCYC

Through State Government funding WA PCYC has commenced a much needed $10.52 million infrastructure upgrade program. This much anticipated capital works project will provide substantially improved activity and program space for young people volunteers, staff and WA Police Youth Crime Intervention Officers will also allow WA PCYC to provide vital Services to the community. Upgrades to Kensington PCYC include an extension of the existing workshop, a complete replacement of ablutions,and an updated commercial kitchen. Midland PCYC structural works, include replacing the gymnasium floor, complete kitchen refit and a redesign of the building floor plan. Rockingham PCYC and Kalgoorlie PCYC have also seen a complete replacement of ablutions, upgraded flooring, installation of a patio and a new hall. All centres have been freshly painted throughout. Works at Bunbury, Gosnells and Albany PCYCs are expected to be completed early in 2017. Kalgoorlie PCYC will re-open its doors in February, with Kensington PCYC officially relaunched on 22nd February 2017, and Midland PCYC relaunch scheduled for early March.
