Classic nursery rhyme characters magically came to life at Fremantle PCYC, when Play School Live in Concert delivered its exciting new production, ‘Once Upon a Time’. Over 1,600 people poured into the Fremantle PCYC Progress Hall, on the 14th and 15th September 2018 to join Big Ted, Humpty, Jemima and all of the Play School favourites as well as presenters Abby and Teo travel through an enchanting adventure filled with stories, songs and dance. Local WA Police Youth Crime Intervention Officers (YCIO’s) also turned up with Police cars and bikes, and children were also and Constable Care made a special appearance. Fremantle Centre Support Officer Lisa Kinnell said it wasn’t only the kids who had a good time at the live concert. “Fremantle PCYC staff and volunteers got to fulfill their childhood dreams when they were invited on set to meet the crew. We were also joined by our local YCIO’s Derrick and Dan who were just as big a hit as Big Ted and Humpty with the little ones” Play School Live in Concert at Fremantle PCYC was a great way to show off the wonderful facility, and a great opportunity to foster relationships between children and the local Police Officers in a warm and friendly environment. The Play School Crew cant wait to return to us next year with their new show!
