Success for Popular Fremantle PCYC Holiday Program

Published: February 09, 2018 12:00am
The popular Fremantle PCYC Safe Space School Holiday program was a huge hit this year with an average of 20 young people attending each day to engage in a wide array of fun activities in a safe and friendly environment! The program this year was jam-packed full of activities for local youth including visits to Kwinana Adventure Park & Cockburn Arc, slime workshops, Ten Pin Bowling, Ice Skating, art workshops, water activities, circus workshops, cooking as well as a movie day held at Fremantle PCYC Progress Hall where popcorn and milo with marshmallows went down a treat! The program also held a very successful Pamper Day, where generous volunteers donated their time, towels and beauty accessories to help staff with hairstyling and pampering activities leaving everyone feeling very relaxed. Alongside they also held a Woodworking Day where local youth were able to build and take home their own wooden model cars in the Safe Space. The feedback from the youth involved was overwhelmingly positive, with highlights including the Art program with Sally Gamble, Circus Workshop, Ice Arena and Pamper Day.
