Police Rangers is an adventure based, youth development program offered in partnership with Cadets WA and is open to young people of high school age. The program is designed to increase youth self-confidence, leadership ability, team building skills and self-esteem.
Being involved with the Police Rangers is a chance to have some serious fun, while learning new skills and gaining valuable experience. Police Rangers learn first aid and other emergency skills and take part in bush craft, survival procedures, abseiling, climbing, exploring, orienteering, drill techniques, archery, bush walking, camping and much more.
Police Rangers is for young people aged 12.5 years -18 years . Police Rangers teaches self-confidence, team work, discipline, consideration for others and community involvement. Meetings are held during school terms only, usually starting 2nd week of term due to pupil free days.
A uniform is supplied but remains the property of CADETS WA.
*Note – sessions are not held during school holidays or on public holidays and session may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances

Please call Rockingham PCYC on (08) 9592 1232 and we can tell you what day and time to come along.
When attending any activity, all junior members of Rockingham PCYC must be dropped off and picked up within the building by a parent or carer. Members who ride bikes etc. to and from the centre will need to provide a note to their respective coach or coordinator
