Full Throttle

Full Throttle is PCYC's bike rebuilding program for young people aged 12-18 years old, who are disengaged from school, to restore damaged or donated bikes.

Young people work with volunteers who generously give their time to teach young people about bike mechanics and work with them to make the bikes roadworthy. Once they are in good condition, the participants donate the bikes back to the community or local families in need. As well as learning technical skills, this program aims to improve participants’ respect for other people’s property and to develop a connection to the community in which they live.
Once bikes are restored to a roadworthy condition, they are donated to charitable organisations or families in need.
