AUR10116 – Certificate I in Automotive Vocational Preparation

The Goals4Life, Certificate I in Automotive Vocational Preparation coarse specialises in the provision of training to youth at risk and young offenders expected outcome to help with behavioural change and engagement, and also to reduce criminal offences.

Certificate I in Automotive Vocational Preparation allows participants the opportunity to gain skills relating to motor vehicle maintenance, as well as learning critical life and employ-ability skills which will enable the participants to progress to further education, training and or employment.

The course provides a good mechanical foundation for youth that wish to enter the Automotive industry and the qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway.

Many participants are referred to the program through Government agencies, Juvenile Justice Teams (JJT) and court referrals and recruited from throughout the South East Metropolitan District and the wider metropolitan area.  Students undertaking this qualification have access to a transportation service to and from the centre from a designated train station, daily breakfast and lunch, mentoring and assistance with writing and compiling a resume.

This fee can be paid in full, invoiced to an agency or business or a repayment plan can be set up.
Concessions may apply or request may be considered for waiving due to financial hardship.
