In late 1945, a group of community members came together in an effort to organise more activities for young people in the area. Securing the use of the Military Drill Hall and some gymnasium equipment, the Albany Boys Club was born.

Following periods of recess and relocations, Albany PCYC proudly stands at its current location at 77 Sanford Rd since 2005.

Known for its distinguished Gymnastics program, the Centre facilitates classes for many different age groups and abilities, running from Monday to Saturday and supporting gymnasts from KinderGym through to competition levels.

Other fun recreational activities are also on offer, such as Archery and Air Rifles!

The Centre operates a popular Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, with hundreds of attendees each week. Fishing trips and preparing traditional Aboriginal food are among popular activities that children and young people have enjoyed.
