Rockingham

Rockingham PCYC provides a variety of sport and recreation, learning and development and diversionary programs. Rockingham PCYC is also home of the local skate park, affectionately known as the 'Rocko Skate Park', which is a popular place for the young people of Rockingham to hang out.

The Certificate I Automotive course, along with Weld to Life, makes learning and development a key part of what the Centre does to engage young people and to provide alternative learning opportunities.

  • Gymnastics

    PCYC provides a range of gymnastics classes from beginners to state and national squad levels, designed to allow children to progress appropriately, at their own pace.

  • Air Rifles

    Air Rifles is a competitive shooting sport that requires a high level of discipline, focus and patience. Participants of Air Rifles at PCYC get the opportunity to see their skill level progress each week.

  • Bingo

    Bingo is a fun, social activity that helps to bring the community together, suitable for anyone over the age of 12.

  • J-fit Self-defence martial arts

    Learn self-defence in a non-competitive environment.
    An introduction to self-defence and martial arts with a focus on exercise, having some fun and learning some skills while you’re getting fit. A community-based activity, conducted by volunteer instructors from Jishukan Ryu Australia who have been involved at PCYC for more than 30 years.

  • KinderGym

    KinderGym is a GWA approved toddler play program held at PCYC that is specifically designed for children aged 0-5.

  • Roller-skating

    Roller-skating is for people aged 4 years and above with classes conducted by an experienced coach with over 40 years of experience. This activity is a structured classes where participants are taught to have confidence when skating, developing balance and coordination. You can use your own skates or we do have some sizes available for use during classes.

  • Certificate I in Automotive Vocational Preparation

    Certificate I in Automotive Vocational Preparation provides young people that are disengaged from traditional school with an introductory qualification to pursue an Automotive/ Mechanical apprenticeship or a job in the automotive industry.

  • Weld to Life - Certificate I in Engineering Pathways

    This qualification is intended for students interested in gaining exposure to an engineering or a related working environment. Participants for this course must be referred by a recognised provider. The course is available to young people who are in the equivalent school years 10, 11 or 12.
