Carnarvon Blue Light WA™ brekkie fosters positive connections

Published: February 27, 2024 10:22am

In Term 1 young people in Carnarvon have been invited to a weekly back-to-school breakfast.

The Monday morning initiative, organised by Carnarvon Blue Light WA™, in collaboration with the Shire of Carnarvon, Ngala and Helping Minds, provides a casual setting for young people and their families to meet and connect with local service providers in their community.

The free breakfast, held at the town’s Tonkin Park, has gained popularity, with the most recent meet-up attracting 30 young people!

Not only does the regular event provide an opportunity for young people to chat with community service providers in a positive environment, but it also sets up attendees for a great day with a delicious barbecued bacon and egg breakfast and hot milo on the menu.

After 8.30am, a convenient school bus pick-up service is available for young people, ensuring they arrive at school on time.

A sincere thank you to our event supporters for helping us to foster important relationships between young people and community services.
