Constable Bunny delights Collie kids with Easter treats
Children in Collie were thrilled to receive a visit from the Easter bunny (otherwise known as Sergeant Heyden Westbrook) who made over 200 deliveries of chocolate Easter eggs throughout the community.
The eggs were donated by PCYC and local community members. It took Constable Bunny and his helpers over four hours to deliver the yummy treats. Constable Bunny’s Easter egg deliveries have become an annual event in Collie with this Easter marking its fourth year. One five-year-old girl flew out of the house when she saw Constable Bunny arrive and gave him a giant hug, screaming, “I love you, Easter Bunny!”
The PCYC gymnastics team in Bunbury also got into the Easter spirit with coaches Gabby Amundsen and Claire Barbour dressing up in bunny ears for the final KinderGym session for Term 1. The little ones loved playing with the balloons, bubbles and giant parachute!
