Glitz and Glamour at Albany PCYC Community Ball

Published: February 17, 2020 12:00am

It was all glitz and glamour on Sanford Road when Albany PCYC hosted its 11th Annual Community Ball on Saturday 15th February 2020.

The event was a huge success, raising $10,000 to support the delivery of recreational activities and diversionary programs for local young people.

Over 120 guests were hosted by MC- Michael Lynch and treated to an exceptional night of entertainment provided by popular four-piece cover band Pinstripe.

Some of the items that went under the hammer were a Kookaburra Cricket Bat signed by Mike Hussey, a case of Kilarney Wine, Snap Fitness Gym Membership, and a $500 travel voucher – all of which raised significant funds for PCYC.

Centre Manager Terry Eaton thanked his hardworking staff and the local community who helped make the night such a special event.

“Our annual Ball is a truly special event that brings the community together to not only celebrate the good work that PCYC does, but to help raise money to deliver important programs for our young people” said Terry.

The Albany PCYC Community Ball was made possible with the generous support of corporate sponsors GWN7, Wignalls Winery, Bendigo Bank, grace and Motel Le Grande.

A special mention also to Ebony Belfield for providing photography on the night.
