PCYC CEO Resignation
PCYC, a leading provider of youth services across WA, today announced its Chief Executive Officer, Mr David van Ooran, has resigned from the CEO role.
PCYC Chairperson, Mr Geoffrey Stooke, expressed his sincere thanks to Mr van Ooran.
“David has provided outstanding leadership and vision, particularly through the challenging times of the Coronavirus pandemic. His commitment to PCYC’s purpose has been exemplary and on behalf of the Board, I wish him the best for the future.”
Mr van Ooran’s resignation will be effective on 25th November 2022, and he will continue to serve as CEO throughout the notice period.
Mr Stooke said the PCYC Board will commence recruitment immediately for a new Chief Executive Officer.
Mr van Ooran has accepted a role at the City of Cockburn as the Chief of Community Services.
Mr van Ooran stated, “It has been a privilege to play a role in transforming PCYC to a more sustainable, respected, and successful organisation. I have been fortunate to see first-hand the impact we have in the lives of some of the most vulnerable children and young people across WA.”
