PCYC Chairperson appointed a Member (AM) in the General Division of The Queen's Birthday 2022 Honours List

PCYC is pleased to announce that our Chairperson, Mr Geoffrey Stooke OAM, has been appointed as Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia of the Queen's Birthday 2022 Honours List for his significant service to rugby union, sports administration, business, and the community.

80 remarkable West Australians were recognised in the Queen’s Birthday 2022 Honours List for their exceptional service or achievement in our community.

The Order of Australia recognises Australians who have demonstrated outstanding service or exceptional achievement. Individuals are appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for service in a particular locality or field of activity or to a particular group.

Mr Stooke was a recipient of the Medal of Order of Australia (OAM) in 1999, the Australian Sports Medal in 2000, the Centenary Medal in 2003 and in 2006 was the WA Citizen of the Year in the category of Sport.
