Shardae and Liam work-ready thanks to Midland PCYC

Two students from Midland PCYC are on a positive life path after graduating from PCYC Learning and Development Programs.

Shardae graduated from the Midland PCYC Stepping Stones numeracy and literacy program, and stepped straight into part-time employment in the retail industry.

A dedicated student, Shardae excelled in the Stepping Stones Program – an alternate education program for young people who are of compulsory school age, but for a variety of reasons do not attend school.

17-year-old Liam is enrolled in an Automotive Pre-Apprenticeship at North Metro TAFE after completing Certificate I in Automotive Vocational Preparation and Certificate I in Leadership course, earlier this year.

Liam said “I don’t know where I would be without the training courses I have completed at PCYC, and without the support of the trainers who have helped to keep me on track – I am forever grateful”.

Liam is also part of a class of seven young people who graduated from the Certificate I in Leadership course at Midland PCYC this week.
