Alternative Life Skills Centre

The Alternate Life Skills Centre (ALSC), currently operating at Broome PCYC, offers an alternate education program for youth who have become disengaged from mainstream schooling and are classified as Prolific Priority Offenders (PPO’s).

In collaboration with the Department of Education, this alternative education campus provides young people with a relaxed classroom environment, and access to a curriculum that focuses on improving youth literacy and numeracy levels and provides youth with educational and life skill opportunities. Young people are engaged and guided into programs that aim to promote healthier lifestyle choices, positive attitudes, and give youth a second chance in life and entry into possible career pathway opportunities.
