PCYC kids celebrate PCYC’s 80th year

Children and young people in the Geraldton Community had a great time celebrating 80 years of PCYC at their Blue Light™ Disco.

With new audio equipment thanks to a generous donation to Blue Light™, kids were straight to the dance floor to show off their dance moves. The fun didn’t stop there with a range of games for all ages to enjoy. Local Youth Police Officers also joined the celebrations, cooking a delicious BBQ for everyone to enjoy.

To make sure PCYC received a proper birthday party, there was even a PCYC cake! Young people gathered around as they sung Happy Birthday, celebrating with party poppers and party blowers.

Geraldton PCYC Centre Manager, Talya Quinn said, “PCYC has helped to empower so many children and young people in our community, so it was an important milestone for us to celebrate.”

“The feedback from everyone that attended was exceptional, with so many young people asking to stay later because they were having so much fun.”
