Do you want to be the next Steven Spielberg or know someone who does? All you need to do is create a 3 minute short film on street safety to enter the ‘Your Call’ student film competition and be in with a chance of winning $6,000 as well as having your film screened at ECU/ WA Screen Academy.
The ‘Your Call’ competition theme for 2020 is street safety. Street safety is a broad community issue and for young people growing up in WA’s cities or regional towns, how to stay street safe is of growing importance.
This theme encourages you to explore the many different ways you can reduce the risk associated with going out and having fun. So put your thinking caps on, work together and think of some unique strategies that can be used to avoid dangerous situations and help young people to stay safe.
The competition is run by WA Police Force and Constable Care Children Safety Foundation.
If this sounds like your calling, register now at www.yourcall.rocks/competitions and submit your film by 14th October 2020 to be in the running to win!
