Institute of Training students onto their next chapter

Published: January 26, 2024 9:20am

Congratulations to the students from Midland PCYC and Kensington PCYC who completed their respective courses at the end of the year.

Six students enrolled at Midland PCYC completed the Stepping Stones course, which focused on developing numeracy and literacy skills and preparing students for the next steps in their education journeys. Special guests at the end of semester celebration included Sergeant Jesse Bill and TAFE Teacher Gail Barton.

At Kensington PCYC, family and friends as well as esteemed guest Superintendent Roger Beere gathered to celebrate students completing the Certificate 1 Automotive Course.

Over the weeks, students were introduced to automotive retail, service and repair industries and received hands-on and theory training. The knowledge they have gained throughout the course will assist them in gaining entry to further training in many sectors.

We’d like to thank our trainers, youth workers and teachers for all their support throughout the year and for their efforts to re-engage young people in education.

Our dedicated team is committed to opening doors for more students to access alternative education courses to better suit their learning needs and help them reach their potential.

We are excited to see what the Institute of Training has in store in 2024!
