The Plaza’s environmental initiative raises funds for PCYC

The Plaza Hotel’s new environmental initiative not only protects the environment but also benefits their local PCYC!

Wanting to do their part to protect the environment and to support their community, the initiative began when The Plaza Hotel in Kalgoorlie started giving their guests the option to donate money to PCYC instead of getting new towels each day during their room clean.

Fast forward one year and the kind community and guests of the hotel have raised over $5,000 to support Kalgoorlie PCYC’s much needed programs and activities.

Kalgoorlie PCYC Centre Manager, Julie Beeson said, “We’re so grateful to have this kind of support from local businesses. It makes a huge difference to the programs and activities we can provide for children in Kalgoorlie.”
